Ecclesia is an audiovisual album app created by electronic music artist Forss in collaboration with untouch.fm and designer Leonhard Lass. The App lets you experience the full 40 minutes of Forss latest musical project in an immersive audiovisual environment.

About Ecclesia:
Ecclesia is an album of music whose core inspiration is the church. Made at the dawn of a new post religious age Ecclesia presents a fascinating dichotomy - on one hand, church music is some of the oldest in Europe, while the form Forss takes - electronica with fully integrated apps - couldnt be more contemporary and cutting edge.

What the press says:
"Delicate and dense, melodies and sounds from church contexts, found sounds of bells and voices, are set against crisp, sharply-solid, forward-driving electronic beats. And then, there are the visuals: an archaic architecture of mystical symbols and three-dimensional, evolving forms interpret the music in visual form." Peter Kirn, Create Digital Music

Pros and cons of Ecclesia app for iPhone and iPad

Ecclesia app good for

very nice visuals and a surprisingly interesting audiovisual experience - also love the music - runs smoothly on my iPad 2 /ios5..
A wonderful application to complete the extraordinary experience of forsss music. A must have for everyone who simply enjoys high quality visual concepts, design, churches and - of course - the hauntingly beautiful music from the album Ecclesia. Keep up the great work guys, you made this night a bit brighter. Thank you for being awesome!
Some people are giving Ecclesia bad reviews... I discovered it is not frozen, but takes a few minutes to load upon launch. It is interactive, and touch-responsive. Its cool if you like Gregorian chant and random church sounds blended with electronica.

Some bad moments

...with this app; crashes upon launch, even after re-installing.
I think this is one of the best audio-visual Album Apps since Björks Biophilia - I am especially amazed about the amazing combination of interactive graphics with music.. havent seen anything like that before on the iPad..
This app is a rich, sumptuous feast of audio-visual experiences. The sound quality and spatial imaging of the audio stunning. The artwork is gorgeous and entrancing to watch as it slowly evolves to the music. The app allows you to ineract in the sense that you can zoom and pan the artwork; dont forget to zoom out to see the symbolic plates that accompany each piece! After playing around with this app for ten minutes I swear I felt like I had been meditating for twenty. Easily worth the four dollars in my opinion.
It crashes after its really long loading screen. Fix this please!
Could be a cool app. I wouldnt know because after a minute or so long splash screen the game starts and immediately crashes. Every time.
This app does not work. Tried to use it several times and all it does is send me back to the main screen. Stupid is broken.
